The Women of  The Dallas Boot Camp for Women

What type of fitness person are you?

In my 9 years of guiding men and women to achieve their health and fitness
goals, I have come to the realization that there are two types of exercise and
fitness people. Those who think exercise and fitness just deal with the body; or those who think exercise and fitness include the whole person – muscles, mind, and soul.

I’ve always felt that those who think exercise and fitness are only for the
muscles, joints, and organs were missing out on a huge component to success!  Although exercise and fitness serve a GREAT purpose physically, it has much more of a mental benefit.

It’s time to start thinking about your exercise and fitness habits and the path
you’re taking.  It’s time to focus on your reality and how it’s affecting you
and those around you.  Exercise and fitness are about positive change, both
physical and mental. You first start making positive changes inside; you have to change the way you see yourself and then the outside physical changes will soon follow.

If you find yourself wandering aimlessly through your health and fitness
“program” without mental focus, your progress will be very slow even though
you’re moving your body.  But, if you see exercise and fitness as a time to
focus on your thoughts and bodily motions and envision how you want to look and feel as you exercise – then you will soon realize the true power of the results you can achieve.

Whether you are part of the Dallas Boot Camp for Women or interested in Boot Camp, it’s time to get mentally prepared.  Set up a powerful mental image in your mind – take a deep breath to absorb MORE life – then get up, give each workout 130% effort, or use that energy to get on the phone and get started with us today!

Debra Owen’s, Dallas Boot Camp for Women Success Story

“Debra Owen’s Success Story”

I’d like you to meet Debra Owen a participant of Dallas “Women’s Boot Camp” since May.

For years Debra was an avid runner, running up to 35 miles a week often
finishing off with a 10 mile weekend run. In 2005, Debra had to give up
this workout program because of hip problems. After losing 2 years of her
life, Debra realized that “You come to a point where you do something or
give up.” It was then that Debra decided to set a goal to lose 30lbs and
run a half- marathon before her 50th birthday.

Before starting the Dallas Boot Camp for Women, Debra purchased an elliptical that just happened to come with a free personal training consult coupon in the mail. While it took Debra a little time before she called, she states: “I was too embarrassed to call because I was worried what they would think of me when they met me since I certainly did not look like I spent much time exercising,” she decided to call anyway.

After talking to Debra I suggested that she check out the New Wave Fitness
Website. It was there that Debra noticed an article on the “Women’s Boot
Camp” along with a picture of a woman not much older than herself. That was
enough to peak Debra’s interest and after talking to Debra more on the
subject she decided to give “Women’s Boot Camp” a try and showed up at
5:15am the next day.

Debra had dropped 10lbs between November and the first day of boot camp in May. As of today she has lost 1.5 inches in the hips, a place where she can
actually see a big difference, and a total of 13lbs. She no longer feels
that big hips are just a fact of life.

Debra has also noticed that nutrition is wonderful. She used to obsess
about food and now she doesn’t even think about it. Debra states: ““This
training is exactly what I have been looking for more than 25 years.
“Something that fits into my lifestyle and WORKS.””

Debra says: “I know that Jason tells me that I am the one that has accomplished my “new goal”, but I think it is important that you all
realize how much your contribution, encouragement, commitment, and support to people like me is so important and appreciated.”

““My new goal is not to lose 30lbs anymore or even run the half marathon.”
“My new goal is to be fit, healthy, and comfortable in my own body.” “The
benefit is I get to wear clothes I love again, not obsess over my size, and
the biggest of all is the feeling of confidence I have in just 9 short weeks.
